The Main Themes and Topics Covered in This Juzz/Para of the Holy Quran

Para 25, known as Ilaihi Yuraddu, begins by affirming that knowledge of the Last Hour belongs to Allah. The closing verses of Surah Fussilat describe human inconsistency during hardship and ease, while promising signs that make the truth increasingly clear.

Surah Ash-Shura explains that revelation to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ continues the guidance given to earlier messengers. Allah alone deserves worship, and the religion calls people to remain united upon truth rather than divide through rivalry.

The surah describes believers who trust Allah, avoid major sins, forgive when angry, establish prayer, consult one another, and spend generously. It permits a proportionate response to wrongdoing while praising forgiveness and reconciliation.

Patience and pardon are presented as qualities requiring resolve. Worldly provision is shown to be under Allah’s wisdom.

Abundance is not always beneficial, and hardship is not proof of abandonment. The surah also explains ways in which Allah communicates revelation to human beings.

Surah Az-Zukhruf challenges pride in wealth, status, and inherited religious customs. Material luxury cannot establish the truth of a belief or the worth of a messenger.

Ibrahim’s rejection of his people’s worship provides an example of following evidence over ancestry. The accounts of Musa and Pharaoh expose the emptiness of arrogant power.

Isa is presented as Allah’s servant, and false claims about divine offspring are rejected. The lasting rewards of the Hereafter outweigh worldly ornament.

Surah Ad-Dukhan speaks of the blessed revelation of the Quran and warns of punishment. Pharaoh’s people become an example of power that cannot escape Allah’s judgment, while the righteous are promised safety and honour.

Surah Al-Jathiyah invites reflection on creation and warns against making personal desire one’s guide. It answers denial of resurrection and describes nations gathered for judgment.

Their recorded deeds will be presented, making clear that life is purposeful and accountability is certain.

Selected tafsir references (Ma’ariful Qur’an): 42:38; 43:1; 44:1; 45:1.
