The Main Themes and Topics Covered in This Juzz/Para of the Holy Quran

Para 29, known as Tabarakallazi, strongly emphasises Allah’s power, the truth of revelation, and the certainty of resurrection. Surah Al-Mulk presents life and death as a test and invites reflection on the ordered heavens, the earth, birds, and the provision upon which people depend.

Surah Al-Qalam defends the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ character and warns against obeying arrogant opponents. The story of the garden owners exposes the consequences of planning to exclude the poor from their share, while their regret highlights the need for humility.

Surah Al-Haqqah recalls destroyed communities and describes the final judgment. People receive their records and face the outcome of their deeds.

The Quran is affirmed as revelation rather than the speech of a poet or soothsayer. Surah Al-Ma’arij contrasts human impatience with the discipline of believers who pray, give, remain chaste, honour trusts, and testify truthfully.

Their conduct prepares them for a Day whose reality cannot be avoided. Surah Nuh recounts a prophet’s persistent invitation through public and private preaching.

He calls his people to forgiveness, worship, and reflection on creation. Surah Al-Jinn describes jinn who hear the Quran and recognise its guidance, rejecting false beliefs about Allah.

Surahs Al-Muzzammil and Al-Muddaththir instruct the Prophet to prepare through night worship, measured recitation, patience, purification, and warning others. Their message joins spiritual preparation with the responsibility to convey revelation.

Surah Al-Qiyamah describes resurrection and the approach of death. Human beings cannot escape accountability simply by denying it.

Surah Al-Insan recalls human creation and honours those who feed others sincerely, seeking Allah’s pleasure without demanding repayment. Surah Al-Mursalat closes the para with repeated warnings to those who deny the truth.

Across these surahs, creation, earlier history, death, and future judgment all call the listener to sincere faith, regular worship, compassion, and readiness to meet Allah with a life of obedience.

Selected tafsir references (Ma’ariful Qur’an): 67:1; 68:17; 71:1; 73:1; 75:1; 76:1.
